The aim of the Equal Opportunity and SC/ST cell of the institute is to provide equal opportunity in education and employment so as to improve their social and educational status. It helps them to take their rightful place in the mainstream of society. While establishing the higher educational institution, the management has adopted policies of the government in recruiting and admitting the students from the SC-ST sections. The policies adopted in the institution comply with the regulations laid by UGC.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The internal complaint committee has been established according to provisions of “The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013”. WIRAS has committed itself to providing a congenial and conducive atmosphere in which students, teachers, and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of violence, harassment, exploitation, and intimidation.
