The Minority/OBC Cell was established with the purpose of empowering the Minority and other backward communities in the institution. Also, the institution is very keen to provide services to the educational and cultural needs of the Minority and OBC students
The aim of the Equal Opportunity and SC/ST cell of the institute is to provide equal opportunity in education and employment so as to improve their social and educational status. It helps them to take their rightful place in the mainstream of society. While establishing the higher educational institution, the management has adopted policies of the government in recruiting and admitting the students from the SC-ST sections. The policies adopted in the institution comply with the regulations laid by UGC.

The internal complaint committee has been established according to provisions of “The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013”. WIRAS has committed itself to providing a congenial and conducive atmosphere in which students, teachers, and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of violence, harassment, exploitation, and intimidation.

The Civil Service Academy at WIRAS College is an institution dedicated to providing comprehensive preparation for civil service exams. It offers specialized training and resources to help students acquire the knowledge and skills required for various civil service positions. The academy provides a structured curriculum covering subjects such as general knowledge, current affairs, reasoning, and aptitude.
