Two-day international webinar on the topic

The PG Department of Psychology successfully hosted the first day of its two-day international webinar on the topic "From struggle to strength: solution focused paths to healing and hope on May 7, 2025. 

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Dr. Vineeth kumar, Research Director at WIRAS, setting the tone for a productive and engaging session.Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaque then inaugurated the webinar, adding an esteemed touch to the proceedings. Following the inauguration, Ms. Sahla Abdurahman, Head of the Department, took the stage to introduce the keynote speaker, Mr. Arnoud Huibers, a renowned Director of Solutions Centre, Consultant Psychologist, and Psychotherapist from the Netherlands.

Mr. Huibers delivered a captivating and informative session, sharing valuable insights and expertise with the participants. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where participants had the opportunity to engage with Mr. Huibers and clarify their doubts.

The successful conclusion of the first day of the webinar generated excitement and anticipation for the second day's sessions, promising a fulfilling experience for all participants.
