MDP “Crescendo” at WIRAS Empowers Participants with Financial Wisdom

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) organized a Management Development Programme (MDP) titled “Crescendo: The Path to Skillful Management” on 3rd May 2025. Held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the session was aimed at enhancing financial literacy and promoting effective personal finance management among students and professionals.

The resource person, Ms. Remya Unnikrishnan, Chartered Accountant and CMA (USA), and Finance Manager at United Maritime Logistics, UAE, led an insightful session on “Leveraging Financial Wellness: Personal Finance Management for Professionals.”

Dr. Akhil R, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the relevance of financial awareness in today’s dynamic world. The session covered practical topics including budgeting, savings, debt management, emergency funds, and investment planning, encouraging participants to cultivate financial discipline and stability.

Dr. Vineethkumar V, Research Director, delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the resource person and participants for their active engagement. The event witnessed vibrant participation and was well-received for its practical and interactive approach.
