WIRAS Celebrates Kannur University’s NSS Kalotsavam Championship

WIRAS College organized a Victory Day celebration and reception for the State NSS Kalotsavam Championship Trophy on 3 March 2026 at 2:00 p.m., marking the achievement of Kannur University securing the overall title at the State NSS Kalotsavam held at Thrissur. Nine volunteers from WIRAS represented the university in the event.

The programme began with a welcome address by Fathima Mehrin, followed by the presidential address of NSS Programme Officer Rajeesh V. V. The function was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaq, with Dr. K. V. Sujith, Director of Student Services, Kannur University, as the chief guest. Felicitations were offered by Dr. K. Nitheesh, Salman Faris, and Dr. Vineeth Kumar V. The champions were honoured with mementos, and Anurag P proposed the vote of thanks.
