Alumni Interaction Inspires Psychology Freshers

The PG Department of Psychology, WIRAS, organized “Beyond the Batch,” an alumni interaction session on 23 July 2026 as part of its two-day departmental orientation programme for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students. Ms. Rouna Mahamood, Assistant Professor of Psychology, welcomed the gathering. The session was led by Ms. Afreena T. V., School Counsellor at Wadihuda Higher Secondary School, Pazhayangadi, who shared her academic journey and professional experiences in psychology. She encouraged students to make the most of their college years and prepare for rewarding careers. Ms. Dilna Surendran proposed the vote of thanks. The interactive session inspired freshers to pursue their academic goals with confidence and purpose.
