ASAP Orientation Session for First-Year Students

An Orientation Session on ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) was conducted at WIRAS on 25 July 2025 at the Prof. K. A. Sidique Hasan Auditorium as part of the Induction Programme for first-year undergraduate students. The session began with a welcome address by Mr. Rahnas T., followed by the inauguration by Dr. Akhil R., Vice Principal, who highlighted the importance of skill development in today’s job market. The expert talk was delivered by Mr. Subhin Mohan, Programme Manager, ASAP Kerala (Kannur District), who introduced students to various skill courses, enrollment procedures, and career opportunities under ASAP. The session was interactive and informative, helping students understand the importance of skill-based learning alongside academics. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Haritha P.
