Exploring the Opportunities of Indian Capital Market

The PG Department of Commerce, WIRAS, organized a workshop titled “Exploring the Opportunities of Indian Capital Market” on 10 November 2025 in the Seminar Hall. The programme was conducted to help students understand the structure and functioning of the Indian capital market and explore career opportunities in the finance sector. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Aboo Ishaque P.K., Principal, WIRAS, in the presence of Dr. Noble Jacob, Head of the Department of Commerce. The keynote session was handled by Mr. Shineesh O.K., Co-founder of Finalogue, who shared valuable insights into investment opportunities, financial literacy, and market trends. The session was interactive and informative, with students actively participating in discussions on investment strategies, risks, and financial planning. Faculty members appreciated the initiative for providing practical exposure and enhancing students’ awareness of the financial market. The workshop concluded successfully with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Muhammed Ashid T.P., Secretary of WIRAS.
