International Left-Handers Day, Celebrating Uniqueness

The Department of English, in association with the Department of Library, marked International Left-Handers Day on 13 August 2025 with engaging and meaningful activities at Lecture Hall 3. A Handwriting Competition brought together students from across departments, highlighting creativity and neatness, with special appreciation for both left- and right-handers. Jaliba Sherin V Sem B.Com Co-operation bagged first prize. Fathimath Amana K.V  of l Sem B.Com Co-operation and Hiba Fathima B of l Sem B.Com Co-operation received second and third positions respectively. The Experience Sharing Session – “Life as a Left-Hander” offered a lively platform where participants shared personal stories, challenges, and amusing experiences, creating awareness and mutual understanding. The celebration successfully promoted inclusivity and reminded everyone to embrace individuality with pride.
