Kerala state which outperforms other states in terms of high literacy rate, but lags behind in facilitating more higher education options such as colleges, universities and research centres. WIRAS is an initiative of Ta’leemul İslam Trust, spacing in the academic milieu of the state to provide education to the marginalised and implement the education policies to be on par with global models of knowledge systems.
