A Walk Through Words” – Department Introduction Session at WIRAS

The Department of English, WIRAS College, conducted an engaging induction session titled “A Walk Through Words: Department Introduction” on 15 July 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the English Lecture Hall. The session was led by Nivedya Das, who provided students with a comprehensive overview of the department’s vision, curriculum, and academic journey. Students were introduced to the department’s legacy, faculty members, and the wide range of academic and co-curricular opportunities designed to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills. An interactive open-floor session encouraged students to share their aspirations and clarify their queries, making the programme both welcoming and insightful.
