"Adopt a Plant"

In observance of World Environment Day, the Tourism Club and the Department of English, WIRAS, jointly organized an "Adopt a Plant" programme on June 5, 2026. The initiative aimed to foster environmental consciousness and instill a practical sense of ecological responsibility among the student community. The programme was officially inaugurated by our respected Principal, Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., who emphasized the vital role of youth in environmental sustainability. Following the inauguration, students and faculty members actively participated in planting saplings and officially "adopted" them, pledging to nurture and care for their growth. The campaign successfully raised environmental awareness across the campus, reinforcing the institution's commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.
