AI Meets Literature At WIRAS

The Department of English, WIRAS, organized “AI in Literature” as part of its Induction Programme 2026 for first-year B.A. English students on 27 July 2026. The session was led by Ms. Neethu T., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, on the theme “Where Imagination Meets Innovation.” She introduced students to the growing role of artificial intelligence in literary creativity, interpretation, research, and education. The interactive session encouraged participants to explore how AI is transforming the study and practice of literature while reflecting on the evolving relationship between technology and the humanities. The programme proved both informative and thought-provoking for the students.
