Alumni Connect Inspires Psychology Students

The Department of Psychology at WIRAS hosted an inspiring Alumni Connect session on 25th July 2025 at the college seminar hall, aimed at guiding students aspiring for higher education. The session featured Ms. Fathima Shaza, a distinguished alumna from the BSc Psychology batch of 2021–24, who is currently pursuing her MA in Applied Psychology at the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by Hiba KP, a 3rd semester Psychology student, followed by a brief introduction of the guest speaker by Raniya from the 5th semester. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Fathima Hamza, acknowledging the insightful contributions of the speaker.

Ms. Shaza shared her academic journey, providing students with practical tips on preparing for postgraduate programs, navigating admission processes at reputed institutions, and maintaining a healthy balance between academic demands and personal well-being. Her candid and interactive discussion deeply resonated with the attendees, offering both motivation and direction to those considering advanced studies in psychology.
