BCA Association Inauguration Blends Learning, Talent, and Inspiration

The Department of Computer Science marked a vibrant beginning to its association activities with the Association Inauguration programme for BCA students held on 12 January 2026 at the Seminar Hall. The event began on a warm and welcoming note with Ms. Diviya T, Assistant Professor, extending greetings to dignitaries, faculty members, and students.

Ms. Soumya Rishin, Head of the Department, in her Presidential Address, inspired students to actively engage in academic and co-curricular pursuits. The inauguration was formally carried out by Mr. Salmanul Farisi, Student Dean, who highlighted the need for continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of computer science. Mr. Shamseer, Assistant Professor, felicitated the collective efforts of students and faculty.

Academic excellence and creativity were celebrated through prize distribution to toppers and competition winners. The technical session by the Chief Guest, Ms. Shylaja P, Assistant Professor, Kannur University, on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality captivated students with hands-on experience. Cultural performances added colour to the day, making the programme both enriching and memorable.
