Commerce Careers –Endless Possibilities

The PG Department of Commerce, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), WIRAS, organised a seminar titled “Commerce Careers – Endless Possibilities” for Final Year B.Com students on 23 June 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:30 a.m. in the College Seminar Hall. The session was led by Mrs. Simi U., Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, WIRAS, who provided valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available in the field of commerce. She also emphasized the importance of developing professional skills, pursuing higher education, and preparing strategically for emerging career pathways in the corporate, banking, finance, entrepreneurship, and public sectors. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rahnas T., Assistant Professor and Commerce Association Coordinator, expressing gratitude to the resource person and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the seminar.

The seminar was highly informative and motivated students to explore the wide range of career opportunities available after graduation while encouraging them to enhance their skills for future success.
