Commerce Department Hosts Power BI Workshop

The PG Department of Commerce, WIRAS, organized a One-Day Inter-Collegiate Hands-on Workshop on “Microsoft Power BI for Business Analytics” on 18 August 2026. The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Lakshmi V. R., followed by the presidential address by Dr. Noble Jacob, Head of the PG Department of Commerce. Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., Principal, WIRAS, inaugurated the workshop, while Dr. Vineethkumar V., Vice Principal, offered felicitations. The technical session was handled by Mr. Adarshin B. Suresh, Tech Trainer, ICT Academy of Kerala. Forty students, including 20 from WIRAS and 20 from other colleges, participated. The hands-on sessions covered Power BI, data visualization, report preparation, and interactive dashboard creation.
