Commerce Department Organizes Session on “Review of Literature: A Beginner’s Guide”

The P.G. Department of Commerce at Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) organized a session titled “Review of Literature: A Beginner’s Guide” on 3rd November 2025 as part of the Project Orientation Programme for final-year B.Com students.

The session was led by Ms. Neethu T, Assistant Professor, P.G. Department of Commerce, who provided valuable insights into the significance, structure, and methodology of writing an effective review of literature for academic projects. She emphasized the importance of identifying relevant sources, organizing reviews coherently, and maintaining academic integrity by avoiding plagiarism.

Students were also guided on how to critically analyze previous studies and connect them meaningfully to their own research topics. The interactive session concluded with a lively Q&A segment, allowing participants to clarify their project-related queries. The programme was highly appreciated by students for its practical relevance and clarity.
