Department of English to Host “Bookscape”

The Department of English, in association with the Library Department of Wadihuda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies (WIRAS), is set to celebrate Library Day with a vibrant event titled “Bookscape” on 12th August 2025.

As part of the celebrations, two engaging competitions will be conducted:

Book Review Competition – Participants are invited to submit a 250–300 word review of any book of their choice by 10th August 2025.

Classroom Library Setting – Students will create unique library corners within their classrooms, showcasing creativity and a love for reading.

The programme aims to foster reading habits, promote literary appreciation, and encourage innovative ways of making books an integral part of everyday academic life.

The celebration is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from students across departments, making it a memorable occasion dedicated to the joy of books and the power of knowledge.
