Department of Student Affairs Inaugurated

The Department of Student Affairs was inaugurated in Wadihuda institute of Research and Advanced Studies today at The College Auditorium.

The programme commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Mr. Salmanul Farrisi, Student Dean, who set the tone for the day’s proceedings.

Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., Principal, delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting the vision and commitment of WIRAS in supporting students’ academic and professional growth.

The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Sujith K. V., Director of Student Services, Kannur University, who also delivered the Keynote Address. He emphasized the pivotal role of scholarships in bridging opportunities, motivating young learners, and inspiring them to strive for excellence.

The session continued with Felicitations from distinguished guests including Mr. Jose R., Institutional Nodal Officer, St. Joseph College, Pilathara; Dr. Vineethkumar V., Research Director and IQAC Coordinator; Mr. Rajeesh V. V., Programme Officer, NSS Unit, WIRAS; Mr. Muhammed Mubashir, Assistant Professor & Staff Secretary; and Mr. Muhammed Midhlaj, Chairman, Students Union. Each shared words of encouragement, commending the initiative and motivating students to make the most of the opportunities provided.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Dhanya V. M., Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, students, and participants for making the event a grand success.
