English Department Partners With VCAN

The Department of English, WIRAS, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Vibrant Community Action Network (VCAN) on 24 July 2026, marking the beginning of a three-year collaboration. The partnership aims to enhance student development through skill enhancement programmes, internships, experiential learning, workshops, community engagement, and career-oriented initiatives. Following the signing ceremony, an interactive session titled "VCAN CONNECT" introduced students to VCAN's vision, projects, volunteering opportunities, and career development programmes. Students from various departments actively participated in the session, which promoted leadership, social responsibility, and employability, reflecting WIRAS's commitment to strengthening industry and community partnerships.
