Hack the Logic” Coding Competition Conducted at WIRAS

The Department of Computer Science, WIRAS, organized a coding competition titled “Hack the Logic” on 15 September 2025 in observance of International Programming Day. The event was conducted for 3rd and 5th Semester BCA students at the Computer Lab with the aim of improving students’ logical thinking and problem-solving skills. The competition was held in two rounds. The first round included questions based on identifying errors, finding code outputs, and filling in the blanks related to C programming concepts. Out of 27 participants, 10 students were shortlisted for the final round. In the second round, participants were asked to write and execute C programs based on given logic. The round tested students’ coding, debugging, and analytical abilities. Mohammed Falahul Abid and Sahal Fouz Kunhamed of 5th Semester BCA emerged as winners of the competition. The programme was organized by the Department of Computer Science and coordinated by Ms. Diviya T, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science. The event successfully provided students with an opportunity to showcase their programming knowledge and technical skills.
