Insightful Session on “SIP as a Wealth Creation”
The Department of Commerce organized a special session on “SIP as a Wealth Creation” on 24/02/2026 at Wadihuda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies as part of the Commerce Association Inauguration. The session was led by CA. Rahul Rajan, Fellow Chartered Accountant. He explained the concept of Systematic Investment Plans, highlighting rupee cost averaging, compounding, affordability, and flexibility. Emphasizing early investment and consistency, he discussed mutual fund SIP types and selection factors such as risk profile and goals. The interactive session clarified students’ doubts on returns and market risks, promoting disciplined financial planning.
