InvestWise Promotes Smart Financial Planning

The PG Department of Commerce, WIRAS, Vilayancode, organized “InvestWise: A Community Outreach Programme on Government Savings and Investment Schemes” on 27 July 2026 at the Anganwadi Centre, Kullapuram. The technical session was led by Ms. Prajitha P. M., who explained key government-backed savings and investment schemes, including PPF, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), National Savings Certificate (NSC), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS), and Post Office Savings Schemes. Around 20 community members attended the awareness programme, gaining valuable insights into financial planning and secure investment options. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Lakshmi V. R., Programme Coordinator.
