Menstrual Cup Distributed in WIRAS

WIRAS College Hosts Menstrual Cup Distribution Programme Promoting Sustainable Hygiene

The Women Cell of WIRAS College, Vilayancode, in collaboration with Haritha Keralam Mission, organized a Menstrual Cup Distribution Programme on 5 March 2026 at the college auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Aboo Isaque, Principal of WIRAS College, who highlighted the importance of menstrual hygiene and eco-friendly alternatives. The session was presided over by Women Cell Coordinator Mrs. Madona M Devasia. The chief guest, Mrs. Shobha T, Block Coordinator of the mission, addressed the gathering on sustainable living.

 A keynote session on the usage and benefits of menstrual cups was led by Mrs. Divya A P. As part of the initiative, 100 menstrual cups were distributed to students and 300 cups were provided for teachers and students.
