NSS Unit 48 Inspires Young Minds, Teach for a Day- at Sankara Vilasam AUP School

As part of ENWIRAS 2025, the NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS, in association with Sankara Vilasam AUP School, Mandoor, organized a rural school volunteering programme titled “Teach for a Day.”

The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Sathi Savithri, Head Teacher of Sankara Vilasam AUP School, who appreciated the initiative for nurturing social responsibility and extending quality learning opportunities to rural students.

As part of the event, NSS volunteers Ms. Sreehitha Surendran, Ms. Fathimath Faaza Muthallib, and Ms. Ziya took engaging classes for the schoolchildren. The session was coordinated under the leadership of Senior Volunteer Secretary Mr. Shithil M K, along with active support from volunteers Juraij Abdul Jabbar, Ms. Fida, and Ms. Fathimath Shifa K P.

The initiative not only enriched the students with interactive learning experiences but also strengthened the volunteers’ commitment to education and community service.
