The contribution was formally handed over by Dr. Olayikkara Ismayil, Principal of Sir Syed College, accompanied by Programme Officer Mr. Siraj and NSS volunteers. Volunteers Adil Falah, Jasna P M, Haisom Abdul Latheef, and Fathima Hamsa received the amount on behalf of NSS Unit 48 and the beneficiary.
This generous support is in addition to the Rs. 48,324 already raised by WIRAS NSS Unit 48 through fundraising efforts across Payyannur, Taliparamba, and Pazhayangadi, and the Rs 36,669 collected earlier by Payyannur College NSS Unit 10.
