One-Day AI & Machine Learning Workshop

The Department of Computer Science, WIRAS College successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on "From Data to Intelligence: Machine Learning and Deep Learning" on 14 July 2026, offering students an engaging blend of expert insights and hands-on learning in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The programme began with a Welcome Speech by Mr. Shamseer M. A., Programme Coordinator, followed by the Presidential Address by Mr. Ratheesh Raju, Head, Department of Computer Science. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., Principal, WIRAS College. The technical sessions were led by Dr. T. M. Thasleema, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Muhammed Bilal C. A. and Mr. Sumesh K., Research Scholars, Department of Computer Science, Central University of Kerala. The sessions introduced students to the fundamentals of Machine Learning and Deep Learning through interactive discussions and practical hands-on activities. The programme also featured felicitations by Dr. Vineeth Kumar V., IQAC Coordinator, and Dr. Ayshath Shammah Rahmath , Academic Coordinator. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Faaza Muthalib, Third Year BCA student. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from BCA and B.Sc. AI & ML students, making it an enriching learning experience and inspiring them to explore the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence.
