One day Workshop on “AI Foundations with Python”

The Department of Computer Science at Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) organized a one-day workshop on “AI Foundation with Python” on 5 November 2025 in collaboration with UPCODE Software Solutions LLP for final-year BCA and selected first-year students. The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Anshida Jasmin, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, followed by the presidential address by Ms. Soumya Rishin, HoD, Department of Computer Science. The workshop sessions were led by Mr. Hashim and Mr. Jishnu from UPCODE Software Solutions LLP. The forenoon session focused on Python programming from basic to advanced levels through lectures, quizzes, and practical exercises. The afternoon session provided hands-on training in creating AI-powered chatbots using OpenAI API keys, helping students gain practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence applications. The workshop proved to be highly beneficial for students by enhancing their programming skills and awareness of AI technologies. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sahal Fouz, BCA final-year student.
