Orientation Sessions Held for Psychology Students

The Department of Psychology conducted a two-day Orientation Programme on 1st and 2nd June 2026 for the 5th Semester UG, 3rd Semester Applied Psychology, and 3rd Semester UG students. The programme aimed to welcome students back after the vacation and prepare them for the upcoming semester through informative and interactive sessions.On the first day, the 5th Semester UG students attended a General Orientation Session by Ms. Neethu, followed by an interactive session by Ms. Shadiya and a faculty interaction session. Simultaneously, the 3rd Semester Applied Psychology students participated in a Dissertation Briefing Session by Ms. Rouna, a session on Internship Opportunities by Ms. Dilna, and an interactive session by Ms. Neethu.On the second day, the programme was organized for the 3rd Semester UG students. The sessions included a General Orientation by Ms. Neethu, a talk on “Living Online: FOMO and Students” by Ms. Rouna, and an interactive session by Ms. Shehzadi. The orientation programme was informative and engaging. The sessions helped students begin the new semester with confidence and enthusiasm.
