Paper Bag Contest Promotes Sustainability

The PG Department of Commerce, WIRAS College, organized a Paper Bag Making Competition on 24 July 2026 at the college auditorium for first-year B.Com Co-operation, B.Com Computer Applications, and M.Com students. The competition aimed to promote creativity and environmental awareness, with 10 teams participating enthusiastically. The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Rajasree A. M., followed by competition guidelines from Mr. Farman C. H., Student Coordinator. The event was judged by Mr. Rajeesh V. V. and Mr. Manu C. H. Group Earth won the first prize, followed by Group Leaf and Group Water in second and third places respectively.
