Peace Lily Promotes Nature Conservation

As part of the World Nature Conservation Day observance, the PG Department of Psychology, WIRAS, organized the distribution of “Token of Love” – Peace Lily plants to promote environmental conservation, peace, and psychological well-being. The programme was inaugurated by presenting the first Peace Lily plant to Dr. Aboo Ishaque, Principal, symbolizing the department's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Representing peace, hope, purity, and renewal, the Peace Lily was distributed to encourage participants to adopt eco-friendly practices and nurture a deeper connection with nature. The initiative received an enthusiastic response, with participants appreciating its symbolic message of conservation, harmony, and responsible living.
