PG Psychology Association and Counselling Room Inaugurated at WIRAS

The PG Department of Psychology, WIRAS, organized the Association Inauguration along with the Counselling Room Inauguration in a formal ceremony. The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Sahala, Head of the PG Department of Psychology, who highlighted the significance of the association and the counselling facility for students’ academic and personal development.

The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Aboo Ishaque, Principal of WIRAS, who emphasized the importance of mental health support services within the campus. The inauguration was formally carried out by Dr. Johnson Alex, marking a significant milestone for the department.

The event also featured felicitations by Mr. Haris Mahmood, Mr. Salmanul Faris, Students’ Dean, Ms. Fatimath Sanaa K.K., Assistant Professor, and Ms. Safa Abdurazak, Assistant Professor, who extended their best wishes for the initiatives.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Raniya, Association Secretary, PG Department of Psychology, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, and participants.
