Psychology Students Gain Research Skills

The final-year M.Sc. Applied Psychology and M.Sc. Counselling Psychology students at WIRAS participated in a valuable research-oriented session focusing on key aspects of academic research. The session covered identifying research topics, formulating objectives, conducting literature reviews, and selecting appropriate research methodologies. Special emphasis was given to the practical use of Google Scholar for locating scholarly literature and supporting research work. The session aimed to strengthen students’ research skills and prepare them for their dissertations and future academic pursuits. The department expressed gratitude to Dr. Vineethkumar V., Vice Principal, IQAC Coordinator and Research Director, WIRAS, for guiding and mentoring the students.
