Psychology Students Lead Climate Conversation

The PG Department of Psychology, WIRAS, organized “Sira – Climate Conversation,” a panel discussion on “Nature Conservation and Climate Change” on 28 July 2026 as part of World Nature Conservation Day. The programme was jointly conducted by second-year M.Sc. Applied Psychology and M.Sc. Counselling Psychology students with the support of NSS Unit 48. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Rajeesh V. V., NSS Programme Officer. Faculty members, students, and representatives of the Kannur Kandal Project actively participated, sharing perspectives on environmental conservation, climate challenges, and sustainable practices. The interactive session highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting nature and promoting environmental awareness.
