Reading Day Quiz Competition

The Department of English, in association with the College Library, organized a Reading Day Quiz Competition on 19th June 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Seminar Hall. The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Riya C. V., Assistant Professor and Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of reading in developing knowledge and critical thinking. The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaque, who emphasized the value of reading culture in academic and personal growth. The quiz was conducted by Mr. Anand Prabhakar, whose engaging style made the session lively and informative. The event was attended by faculty members including Mr. Devraj (Librarian), Ms. Nivedya (HOD, English), Mr. Pradeepan R. C. (HOD, Languages), and Mr. Rajeesh Bala (Assistant Professor, Journalism). The winners of the competition were Mirshad and Muzawir (Final Year BBA) who secured the first prize, followed by Amina A and Ishra M (Final Year BA English) who won the second prize, and Muhammed Farzeen P. V. (Second Year B.Com CA) who secured the third prize. The programme concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from students.
