Success Roadmap: Career Guidance Programme for 2nd Year BCA Students

The Department of Computer Science, WIRAS (Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies), organized a Career Guidance Programme titled “Success Roadmap” for second-year BCA students on 2 June 2026. The programme began with a welcome address by Mr. Ratheesh Raju, Head of the Department. The session was led by Mr. Shamseer M.A., who provided valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available in the fields of Computer Science and Information Technology. He highlighted the importance of skill development, higher education opportunities, industry certifications, emerging technologies, and employability skills. Students were also guided on preparing for competitive examinations, placement opportunities, internships, and entrepreneurship. Emphasizing the significance of communication skills, continuous learning, and professional growth, the session motivated students to plan their careers effectively and work towards their professional goals.
