Unwrap: Beyond First Impressions

As part of the First Year Induction Programme, the Dr Thaniya K Leela HOD of the department led an orientation session titled "Unwrap: Beyond First Impressions"  for newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students. The session introduced students to the role of a psychologist, departmental expectations, and what students can expect from the department throughout their academic journey. It also highlighted institutional etiquette and explored the difference between everyday perceptions of psychology and the scientific perspective of the discipline, encouraging students to develop a reflective, ethical, and professional identity as psychology students.
