Voices of Vilayancode

The Department of Management Studies, WIRAS, organized the presentation of "Voices of Vilayancode: Amplifying Community Concerns Through Social Media" on the occasion of Social Media Day. As part of this community-based extension activity, students showcased short videos highlighting the issues, culture, and stories of the Vilayancode community, demonstrating their creativity, storytelling, and social awareness.The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Simi U., Assistant Professor, and was presided over by Dr. Rasna T. P. P., Head, Department of Management Studies. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., Principal, WIRAS, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to use social media as a platform for positive social change. Felicitations were delivered by Dr. Vineeth Kumar V., Research Director & IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Ayshath Shamah Rahmath, Academic Coordinator, and Mr. Rajeesh Bala, NSS Programme Officer. The programme successfully highlighted the role of digital media in promoting community engagement and responsible citizenship.
