Voices through Art: Musical Drama Raised Awareness on Domestic Violence Against Women

The PG Department of Psychology, WIRAS, in association with the GVHSS Cherukunnu SPC UNIT, successfully organized a musical drama titled “Domestic Violence Against Women” on 2nd August 2025 (Saturday) at the Pazhayangadi Bus Stand.

Presented under the theme "Voices through Art," the event drew significant public attention and engagement. Through a compelling blend of music and dramatic performance, the students highlighted the emotional and psychological impact of domestic violence and emphasized the urgent need for collective action to ensure safety and justice for women.

This initiative formed part of WIRAS’s commitment to involving students in socially relevant causes and utilizing creative platforms to spark meaningful dialogue. The performance was well-received by the audience, who appreciated the powerful message and the students’ dedication to raising awareness on such a critical issue.
