WIRAS Achieves Historic Milestone at Intercollegiate Kabaddi Men Championship

Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) marked a significant achievement at the Intercollegiate Kabaddi Men Championship organized by St. Pius X College, Rajapuram, on 25 September. The WIRAS men’s kabaddi team reached an unprecedented level in the tournament, recording the best performance in the history of the college at an intercollegiate kabaddi championship. The championship also functioned as a selection platform for university representation. As a result of their impressive performance, five students from WIRAS were selected to the Kannur University Kabaddi Team and went on to participate in the South Zone Inter-University Kabaddi Tournament, earning recognition for the institution. This notable accomplishment reflects the commitment, teamwork, and perseverance of the players, as well as WIRAS’s continuous encouragement of sports and athletic excellence.
