WIRAS Clinches Kannur University C-Zone Men’s Cricket

WIRAS College successfully hosted the Kannur University C-Zone Men’s Cricket Tournament on 08 and 09 January 2026 at the University Stadium, Mangattuparamba, with 12 affiliated colleges participating. Showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork, WIRAS College emerged as champions, while Payyanur College, Payyanur finished as runners-up. Both teams qualified for the Inter-Zone Tournament. St. Joseph College, Pilathara and Government College, Karinthalam reached the semi-finals. The prizes were distributed by Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaque, Student Dean Mr. Salmanul Farisi, and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Vineeth Kumar. Mr. Muhammed Farhan N. S. was named Player of the Match in the final.
