WIRAS English Department Conducts Baseline Test for Freshers

The Department of English at WadiHuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) conducted its Baseline Test for first-year undergraduate students on 7th August 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, under the theme “Here to Help You Learn Better”.

Designed to assess foundational language skills, the test evaluated grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing ability. The initiative aims to identify areas needing academic support, enabling the department to design targeted enrichment sessions.

Students from various departments participated actively, with first-year tutors and English faculty coordinating the process seamlessly across multiple venues. The results will guide upcoming support programs and foster better classroom engagement.
