WIRAS Observes Anti-Drug Awareness Day

NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS, in collaboration with the PG Department of Psychology, organized “Mukthi” on 24 June 2026 to observe the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The programme commenced with the NSS Geetham and a welcome address by Neethu A. J. Rajeesh V. V. presided over the function, while Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K. inaugurated the event. Assistant Excise Inspector Shaji V. V., the chief guest, delivered an informative session on the dangers of drug abuse, drawing references from Narcopolis. An anti-drug pledge was administered by Fahana. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Fathima Mehrin.
