WIRAS Promotes Equality Through Awareness Programme

The Department of Management Studies, in association with the Civil Service Academy, organized an Anti-Discrimination Awareness Programme at WIRAS to promote equality, inclusion and equal opportunities. Ms. Simi U, Civil Service Academy Coordinator, delivered the welcome address, while Dr. Rasna TPP, Head of the Department, presided. Dr. Aboo Ishaque PK, Principal, inaugurated the programme and emphasized the importance of respecting diversity. Mrs. Dhanya VM, Assistant Professor, offered felicitations. The programme featured the Inclusion Podium elocution contest and Anti-Bias Brush poster-making contest. Fathima K and Archana Mahesh won first and second prizes respectively in elocution, while Najiya and Sahadiya and Shahzadi and Hafna secured the prizes in poster making. Mr. Rajeesh VV and others served as judges. Ms. Ayisha Liya proposed the vote of thanks.
