WIRAS Set to Host Intercollegiate Chess Tournament

The Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS), Pilathara, is gearing up to host an exciting Intercollegiate Chess Tournament, inviting some of the brightest minds and sharpest strategists from colleges across the region.

The tournament, which promises intense battles of intellect and strategy, will be held soon at the WIRAS campus. As a part of its commitment to holistic student development, WIRAS continues to encourage participation in mind sports, with chess taking center stage this season.

Organized by the Department of Physical Education, The tournament is expected to take place by January of 2026. Students and teams from various colleges are encouraged to stay tuned and prepare for what promises to be a high-stakes intellectual showdown.
