WIRAS Student Presents Research Paper on Heavy Metal Contamination at CMPA-25

Ameena Sherin K. K., a second-year M.Sc. Chemistry student of the Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS), Vilayancode, successfully presented a research paper at a national-level conference. She presented her paper titled “Assessment of Heavy Metal Contamination in River Sediments: A Quantitative Study on the Valapattanam River, Kannur, Kerala” at the CMPA-25 Conference held at Manipal University. The study focused on the environmental assessment and quantitative analysis of heavy metal contamination in river sediments. WIRAS congratulated her on this academic accomplishment, which highlights the institution’s strong emphasis on research-oriented learning and encourages active student participation in national academic and scientific forums.
