WIRAS Students Selected to Kasaragod Senior District Sepak Takraw Team

Five students of Wadihuda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies (WIRAS) have brought laurels to the institution by securing selection to the Kasaragod Senior District Sepak Takraw Team for the Kerala State Sepak Takraw Championship 2025.

The selected students are Adithyan Raveendran (BBA 1st Sem.), Yadhukrishna P. P. (BCom CA 1st Sem.), Vishnu K. (BBA 1st Sem.), Abhinand E. (BBA 1st Sem.), and Vaishakh P. (BA English 5th Sem.). Their achievement highlights the growing sporting talent nurtured at WIRAS alongside academic excellence.

Sepak Takraw, a fast-paced sport requiring agility, skill, and teamwork, is gaining popularity across Kerala, and the representation of WIRAS students at the state-level championship marks a proud moment for the institution.

The management, faculty, and peers at WIRAS congratulated the players and expressed confidence that they would excel at the championship, bringing further recognition to both the district and the institute.
