WIRAS to Host Seminar on Digital Safety for BCA Students

The PG Department of Computer Applications at Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) is organizing a seminar on “Password Safety, Phishing & Public WiFi Risks” as part of the ENVIRAS 2025 academic series.

The session is scheduled for 18th September 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Room No. 11, exclusively for first-year BCA students.

The resource person for the seminar will be Mr. Muhammed Shafi K., Assistant Director, ITEC, Palayad Campus, Kannur University. The program aims to equip students with essential knowledge and practical strategies to stay safe in the digital world by addressing common online threats such as phishing attacks, password vulnerabilities, and the risks associated with public WiFi usage.
