Workshop on Speaking Skills in English Held at WIRAS

The PG Department of Commerce, Wadi Huda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS), organized a workshop on “Speaking Skills in English” for first-year B.Com. Cooperation students on October 13, 2025. The session commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Rahanas T., Assistant Professor in Commerce, followed by the inauguration by Dr. Aboo Ishaque P.K., Principal, and the presidential address by Dr. Noble Jacob, Head of the Department of Commerce.

Mr. Vinod Vetarady, Organizational Coach and ELT Mentor, served as the keynote speaker and conducted interactive activities to enhance students’ confidence and communication proficiency in English. Dr. Vineethkumar V., Research Director, delivered the felicitation, and Ms. Shafna Fathima proposed the vote of thanks.

The workshop provided valuable insights into effective communication, emphasizing the importance of fluency, confidence, and practical learning in mastering spoken English. It concluded with positive feedback from students and faculty alike.
