Young Minds Engaged Through Outreach

As part of its extension activities, the Department of English, WIRAS, conducted a School Outreach Programme at Blossoms Pre Primary School, Palakode on 8 July 2026. The programme aimed to create a joyful learning experience for young children through interactive activities. Student volunteers led engaging sessions, including action songs, musical chairs, and animal walk, fostering enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork among the children. The outreach also provided the volunteers with valuable hands-on experience in community engagement and child interaction. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets and gifts, bringing smiles to the children and making the event a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
